Four independent detection fields

Four independent detection fields with freely adjustable angles (10°-100°) with a maximum total distance of 5 m. The aperture of each field is dynamically adjustable in 5° increments over a range of 10° to 100°.

Safety first, also in heavy environment

 

In applications where environmental conditions frequently change, reconfiguring safety devices is crucial to maintaining system robustness without compromising safety. The S203A-WT sensor, equipped with the Teach-In function, enables fast "on-field" reconfiguration without requiring the configuration software (Inxpect Safety Studio).

First safety function: a 3D, configurable virtual barrier with two different detection fields, providing a secure signal to control machinery.

Second safety function: safe presence sensing to prevent machinery from starting as long as operators are in dangerous areas.

Four configurable detection fields

Each sensor supports up to four different detection fields in 3D, each with a different safety output.

Classic or Corridor FOV

You can choose to use a Classic FOV or a Corridor FOV (with the sides cut off where required by the application), both can be configured with symmetrical or asymmetrical shape.

Static object detection

This option allows to detect static objects in the area where the restart prevention safety function is activated. This prevents the mobile device from restarting when there are obstacles in the area.

“On-field” reconfiguration of the FOV

The Teach-In function sets the range of the last detection field according to the distance of the nearest static target detected inside a predetermined volume called "learning area".

Robust to environmental disturbances

A radar sensor is extremely resistant to environmental disturbances. This makes it possible to work without false alarms in environments where there is smoke, dust, water and machining swarf.

Restart timeout

4s is the minimum time needed to perform the Restart Prevention safety function.
